Wastewater Treatment Facility Expansion To 1.50 MGD
Client: Spring Creek Utility District
The work consists of civil, structural, mechanical and electrical work to construct the Spring Creek UD Wastewater Treatment Facility with a treatment capacity of 1.50 MGD.
The Project calls for new on-site pump stations, an influent structure with mechanical fine screen and manual bar screen, three aeration basins, one new clarifier and modifications to an existing clarifier, four chambered disinfection system, four digesters, a blower building with positive displacement blowers, electrical power distribution equipment and controls, two standby generators and controls, a chlorine/sulfur dioxide and chemical feed system building with feed components, and miscellaneous site work including grading, drainage, paving, fencing and demolition of existing facility.
Also requires in the scope of work was the relocation of the existing sanitary sewer system that fed into the plant (this included the installation of approximately 1,000 LF of 15”, 18”, 21”, and 30” PVC gravity sewer and 700 LF of 8” and 12” PVC force main, and five manholes).

El Dorado Utility District 0.50 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant Replacement
The project consists of design and construction of replacement the 0.50 MGD El Dorado Utility District Wastewater Treatment Plant including an elevated headworks with mechanical fine screen, aeration basins, clarifiers, a chlorine contact basin, building for the motor control center, chemical feed system, and multi-stage centrifugal blowers. Also, the scope includes converting the existing aeration basin and chlorine contact basin to a digester, new electrical service, site work, detention pond and site grading, storm sewer and outfall, plant piping, protective coatings, paving, electrical duct banks, conduit, and wiring.
Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 5 Pre-Chlorinated Water Line Pipe Bursting
The Project consisted of the rehabilitation of approximately 45,000 linear feet of 12-inch, 8-inch, 6-inch, and 4-inch water line using “in-situ” replacement with pre-chlorinated pipe bursting method, including replacement of water valves, fire hydrants and service connections.
CNP Utility District Water Plant Nos. 3 & 4 GST Replacements
The project consists of removal and replacement of 420,000 gallon bolted steel ground storage tanks on each site with 500,000 gallon wire-wound prestressed concrete tanks. Work also includes site improvements including yard piping, access gate replacement, grading, and protective coatings.

The project consisted of design and construction of the 1.50 MGD expansion of the Spring Creek Utility District Wastewater Treatment Plant including a lift station, headworks with mechanical fine screen, aeration basins, clarifiers, disinfection system, digesters, blower building, positive displacement blowers, electrical power distribution equipment and controls, generators, chemical feed systems, and miscellaneous site work including grading, drainage, paving, and fencing.
