George O. Puig, P.E.

As Chief Construction Engineer at A&S, George provides services for both public and private projects. Projects for governmental agencies include paving, utilities, thoroughfare construction and reconstruction, and water and sewage treatment facilities. Projects for private clients have consisted of infrastructure for large land development projects, and paving and drainage for some commercial facilities.

George also oversees project quality assurance, construction administration (management), and construction observation (inspection) services.

In addition, George recommendation of award of construction contracts, progress payments, and change orders.

George has over 35 years providing Construction Management. Projects included construction of a new 100 MGD water purification plant, rehabilitation of multiple water and sewer plants, rehabilitation of the complete sanitary sewer infrastructure for a small city. George also wrote a comprehensive construction management manual and managed the development of a software program for construction management including bid tabulation, contract award and processing of contractors pay applications.
