CIVIL 3D CAD TECH
OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Civil 3D Tech to join our Production team! In this role, you will be responsible for production of construction plans for subdivisions, site plans, utility infrastructure, facilities, and quantity takeoffs. You will work closely with engineers and other CAD designers to prepare high-quality and accurate construction plans.
- Produce construction drawings for various civil engineering projects.
- Generate plan and profile views using Civil 3D.
- Incorporate proposed pipes using pipe networks for utility infrastructure.
- Utilize and adhere to existing CAD drafting standards and styles.
- Interpret sketches, details, and engineering data to integrate into construction drawings.
- Provide material quantity take offs from design drawings to allow for estimating.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Works well in a team oriented environment and independently to complete CAD assignments with direction from engineers and other CAD Techs.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of flowlines and underground utilities.
- Ability to analyze and resolve conflicts in gravity sewer and storm drain systems.
- Experience creating detailed construction drawings for civil engineering projects.
- Detail-oriented, with a professional attitude and strong communication skills.
- Self-starter and team player with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
PROJECT COORDINATOR / PROJECT ENGINEER – MUNICIPAL

A&S Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator/Engineer with a strong background in Public Works to join our expanding team. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, subconsultants and additional A&S employees to deliver a wide range of municipal public infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, and underground infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Performing research and completing technical design tasks as required and/or assigned, under the direction & supervision of a professional engineer
- Preparing construction documents for public and/or private public works infrastructure projects from conceptual to final design, under the direction & supervision of a professional engineer
- Assisting in construction administration, under the direction & supervision of a professional engineer
- Assisting in the preparation of proposals, reports, opinion of probable cost, construction specifications and contract documents, under the direction & supervision of a professional engineer
- Establishing good communication and collaborative working relationships with team members & clients
- Organizing and scheduling your own work, and at times, the work of other team members in order to accomplish project goals within established budgets and schedules
- Effectively coordinating & collaborating with technical experts, other engineering design teams and sub-consultants
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Passing of FE Exam & EIT Certification preferred
- 2-6 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on municipal projects

PROJECT MANAGER – PW – DISTRICTS
OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Civil Engineer specializing as a District Engineer for Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs). This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, construction, and operational support of public infrastructure within utility districts, while serving as a key liaison between district boards, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the District Engineer for several Municipal Utility Districts, advising Board of Directors on engineering matters
- Plan, design, and manage infrastructure projects including water, wastewater, and stormwater systems
- Review and approve engineering reports, plats, construction plans, and technical documents submitted by developers and consultants
- Oversee construction progress, conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with approved plans and district standards
- Prepare and present engineering reports during board meetings
- Coordinate with developers, attorneys, bond consultants, and regulatory agencies
- Support bond applications by preparing engineering feasibility reports and cost estimates
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Assist in long-term capital improvement planning for district infrastructure
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
- 8+ years of experience in municipal engineering, with direct experience serving Utility Districts
